Columbia's industrial vehicles which formerly came standard with Diamond Plate body panels (Chariot, Expediter, Stockchaser, Payloader, and Tugger) now come standard with Smooth Plate steel body panels. You don't need to do anything special to get your vehicle with Smooth Plates panels as it is now standard on these vehicles. Diamond Plate body panels are still available as an option.
The Smooth Plate finish has been a big hit with customers who are looking for something a little less industrial looking, but who still require a rugged vehicle that will provide them with years of service. Additonally, the new smooth surfaces provide a great place to place logos, decals, and placards that many installations request or require.
