Columbia partner, Cyngn, a developer of innovative autonomous driving software solutions for industrial and commercial enterprises, was recently named the exclusive autonomous solutions provider for its customer, Global Logistics and Fulfillment, LLC (GLF), a premier warehousing and fulfillment provider. This follows a successful 2021 pilot deployment of Columbia Stockchasers outfitted with Cyngn’s autonomous vehicle technology at GLF’s Las Vegas distribution center.
The Stockchasers were utilized on a series of limited deployments at GLF’s Las Vegas distribution center, enabling the workforce to integrate an autonomous vehicle into their daily operations. A roll-out of Columbia vehicles is slated to continue later this year targeting novel applications across GLF’s expanding footprint, including additional locations in Nevada and California.
Lior Tal, Chairman and CEO of Cyngn, stated, “This deployment at GLF’s distribution center validates the product/market fit that we have been talking about since Cyngn’s inception. This also marks a major step forward in our partnership with Columbia Vehicle Group.”
Greg Breckley, Director of Business Development at Columbia, shared that “We’re thrilled with the early successes at GLF, and looking at what we've got planned this year, we're excited and optimistic about where our partnership with Cyngn will take us."
